Step 1: Allow Add-ons from Unknown Sources

By default, you can only add add-ons from Kodi’s main repository. First, we must turn on the setting to load add-ons from outside sources.

• Click on the System button in the Settings menu.

• Next, go to the part called “Add-ons” and look for the setting called “Unknown Sources.”

• Click this to turn it on. You’ll see a box that tells you that the add-ons you install can see any personal information saved on this device.
• This makes sense since most add-ons need access to the device’s file system.
• Click “Yes” to keep going.

• Once you’ve turned on installation from unknown sources, return to the main screen to keep going.

Step 2: Add the IcDrama Source File

There are two ways to add something to Kodi. If it’s an add-on that works on its own, you can install it from a zip file. But if it’s part of a repository with other apps, you have to install that first.

• Since the IcDrama addon is part of a repository, we must first load the repository. We need to tell Kodi where to look for it. In this case, we will send Kodi straight to the developer’s GitHub page.
• Click on the File Manager button in the Settings menu.

• Click on Add Source on the left side of the screen.

• Once the Add Source text box pops up, make sure “None” is selected and click it.

• This brings up the “Enter a path” box. Enter the information below, then click OK.

• Click “OK” to move on.

Step 3: Put the Aznhusband Repository into place.

Now that the GitHub source has been added to Kodi, we must install the file.

• Scroll down the main menu until you see the area called “Add-ons.” Then choose Install From Zip File.

• This menu lists all the file sources you’ve set up on your Kodi device.
• Click on IcDrama, or whatever name you gave it in the last step.

• Next, choose repository.aznhusband-kodi-repo-1.1.1.zip by clicking on it. The number of your version might be different.

• In a few seconds, you’ll get a message that the aznhusband-kodi-repo has been set up.

Step 4: Get the IcDrama add-on from the Repository and put it in place.

Now that the Kodi library is set up, the IcDrama addon can be set up.

• Click Install from Repository in the Add-ons menu.

• This will bring up a list of your device’s loaded repositories.
• Since I just loaded Kodi, I only have the official {Add-on Repository and the aznhusband repository we installed earlier.
• Click aznhusband-kodi-repo.

• Then click Video Add-ons.

Note: This is where you can see the change between Kodi 18.9 and Kodi 19. On Kodi 19, there is no Video Add-ons area. You will only have a place for the Add-on repository.

• Then choose the Icdrama movie add-on for Kodi.

• This takes you to the page about the add-on.
• Click “Install” to move forward.

• Depending on your system, you may get a window that shows you other add-ons that will also be added. The IcDrama addon needs these requirements to work.
• Click “OK” to move on.

• Because there were so many variables, the installation took about 30 seconds to finish on my Kodi device.
